International Stand Up Comedy Shows (Eng) in Nijmegen, The Hague & Leiden

   Weird Uncle Comedy started in 2019 as a series of small open mic nights in Amsterdam. What began as a handful of comedians testing new jokes has grown into one of the region's go-to English-language comedy nights for expats and internationals, running regular stand-up comedy shows in Nijmegen, Leiden, and The Hague. Every headliner is hand-picked from the UK, US, and European comedy circuits. We only book headliners we know will deliver, building a loyal community of comedy fans who keep coming back for a great night out. 

  Our mission is simple: bring people together through great live comedy. We're building a community of English-speaking comedy fans across Nijmegen, Leiden, and The Hague, who love discovering hand-picked international talent in a friendly, welcoming room. Every comedian on our stage is carefully selected for quality, nothing generic, nothing filler, not social media follower count driven. Whether you're looking for things to do, new to the city, or just someone who loves a fun night out. We support local venues, keep our shows fairly priced, and never compromise on quality. All our shows are in English. 

Our team is made up of Sharon Em - Irish comedian and comedy producer based in Amsterdam.
